Set up in 1983, AIXAM MEGA is Europe's leading manufacturer of quadricycles.
Aixam Mega, the leader in quadricycles has several industrial sites located at Aix-les-Bains (Savoie) and Chanas (Isère) in the Rhône-Alpes region of France.
It has seen constant growth since its inception. This growth goes into overdrive with the development of the European market. Between1986 and 2002, production capacity rises from 3000 to 10,000 units and in 2007, before the crisis, we achieve a record of 15,500 units. In 2009, production stands at 11,200 units with prospects for an increase in 2010 to a planned 12000 units, in other words, 20% higher than in 2002.
With a distribution network of over 130 distributors in France and 600 in Europe, in 2009 AIXAM MEGA, with almost 43% market share, confirms its place as the French and European leader, a position it has held since 1987.
