AIXAM IS BORN ACQUISITION OF AROLA		FIRST AIXAM QUADRICYCLE With a totally revamped technical specification, Aixam brings its new quadricycle to the market (speed 45 km/h) : the 325 D.
1985		1987
THE FIRST TQM AIXAM completes the range with the launch of its first TQM (speed: 75 km/h - licence: A1, A4, AT, AL, B1 or the "driving licence" issued in France prior to 1/04/58). All category A, B, C and D licences are deemed equivalent and thus recognised. This is the 400 D model		... the "GL" version completes the range with additional colours and equipment that complement the "I" versions ...
1988		1989
SUCCESS IN THE HEAD-ON CRASH TEST AIXAM is the first and only manufacturer with a quadricycle that passes the Crash Test (automotive standards) even though this is not required by law. Ever since, AIXAM has been intensifying its policy of user care by subjecting all of its vehicles to the crash test.		AIXAM COMMERCIAL VEHICLES introduction of a new range of commercial vehicles (TQM): 500 cm³ engine.
1991		1992
THE FIRST TWIN Once again, AIXAM takes the lead with the launch of the first quadricycle powered by a liquid-cooled twin-cylinder engine.		MEGA IS BORN Diversification of the company with the creation of a new French marque: MEGA. Objective: Demonstrate the AIXAM team's know-how. Team AIXAM-MEGA : 3 victories in the Trophée ANDROS (1994, 1996 and 1998) and second place in the PARIS-DAKAR 2000.

MEGA TRACK Launch of a prestige vehicle -V12 Mercedes engine - 395 bhp - 4-wheel drive.		MEGA MONTE-CARLO Acquisition of MONTE-CARLO AUTOMOBILE and new development of its Grand Tourisme vehicle.
1997		2000
AIXAM REVOLUTION Launch of the new silent AIXAM. AIXAM takes an even greater lead in terms of SAFETY by subjecting its vehicles to the full range of car safety tests (rear and side crash test etc).		AIXAM EVOLUTION New colours and new equipment ...
2002		2003
THE BIGGEST QUADRICYCLE ON THE MARKET Aixam makes its light quadricycles as big as a heavy quadricycle, whilst meeting the weight limits imposed by European legislation. This year sees the creation of the Pick-up and the Minivan.		MEGA Creation of a range of ultra-light commercial vehicles aimed at tradespeople and local authorities.

After AIXAM Révolution in 1997 and AIXAM Evolution in 2000, AIXAM now launches AIXAM INNOVATION, a range of saloons from our creative teams.		SCOUTY Launch of the first cabriolet with a removable hard top that stows away in the boot.

As it celebrates its 25th anniversary, AIXAM introduces a new range of vehicles: City, Roadline, Crossline and the SCOUTY R cabriolet with removable hard top. Totally re-styled to capture new markets, this new range is the reference for quadricycles, both in aesthetic and technical terms.		Aixam launches new versions - Limited and City Sport
